Catherine was raised in Bucks County, PA, with her family spending every summer in Myrtle Beach. She grew up decorating novelty cakes for various types of events and even made her first wedding cake at thirteen. This is when she discovered her eye for detail and love of helping bring someone’s vision to life. She then moved to Myrtle Beach and earned her Associate degree from Horry Georgetown Technical College where she studied Baking and Pastry Arts.

Furthering her education, she transferred to Coastal Carolina University, earning her Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, resort and tourism management. Upon graduating, she was hired as an Assistant Food and Beverage Director for a large resort in the heart of Myrtle Beach. She spent almost 2 years learning about the industry, working events for the hotel, and gaining as much

knowledge as she could. She then started at S&B in May of 2024 as an assistant where her

passion for event planning blossomed.
